Risen Church wants to be intentional and missional to live out a life to impact our world with the good news of Jesus Christ. Serving as an international community, Risen Church seeks to embody people from all over the world. Our church is made up of a diverse group of believers, including students and professionals, singles and families, foreigners and locals. By worshipping God and loving our neighbors, Risen Church seeks God in order to be fully satisfied and live our lives with purpose through Jesus.
What We See (Vision):
We see the conversion of listeners (Saving), God’s healing grace upon people’s heart and soul (Healing), and His invasion into their lives to awaken them spiritually for His Kingdom’s ministry (Reviving) in Denton and beyond the World.
What We Do (Mission):
“Our mission is to follow and make followers of Christ.”
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28)
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth (John 4:24)
I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth
until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13)
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
